Sultan Sjarif Kasim II, that was the sign that I read when we arrived in Pekan Baru, Riau, two weeks ago. Fresh air that I could breath made me feel comfort to be in this new place that I come to.
The Travel agent-man (driver) had wait for us for several hours because of the delayed schedule. I thougt his eyes might tired looking for us. as we were hungry, the driver took us to a Padang restaurant, accross his office. The restaurant was small, simple without any wall, plus the heat from the sun. But, the driver said we can taste delicious foods there. His word was, "The taste is good." And, yes, he was not lying. The price was also friendly to us.
After the afternoon lunch, we went back to the car and continue our journey to Renagt, the small city in Riau. It was almost six hours spent to reach this small city. Finally, late in the night, we arrived in Hotel Danau Raja, Rengat.
Yup, it really is in front of beautiful small lake that shining by the light of the moon. Later, in the morning we could see the lake clearly.
